About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and administrative support, with experience in various medical settings such as urgent care, and hospital medicine.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinic or hospital settings
• Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient patient documentation
• Ability to perform tasks related to vital signs monitoring and medication administration
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical histories
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Prepare patients for X -rays and other diagnostic tests
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow -up care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols
