The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks, including appointment scheduling and chart management. The role also involves providing information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
Medical Assistant Certification.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

Nice To Haves

Work experience in health care preferred.
