About The Position

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our growing Lone Tree practice! This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional weekends.

The Medical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Requirements

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience - required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred
• Phlebotomy Program – preferred
• Sterile surgical setting experience - preferred
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• EMR experience - preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Practice phlebotomy
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
