  • National Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA)
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Two (2) years experience in community health or a physician’s office

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, assist with check‑in, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment.
  • Prepare for visits through chart scrubbing, pre‑visit planning, and record updates.
  • Room patients, take vital signs, complete screenings, review histories, and document accurately in the EHR.
  • Assist providers during exams and procedures, including setup and chaperoning as needed.
  • Manage delegated EHR inbox tasks such as referrals, normal results, refill requests, and patient cases.
  • Make follow‑up calls and support care coordination with the clinical team.
  • Collect and process specimens, perform CLIA‑waived tests, and complete quality control tasks as assigned.
  • Stock supplies, clean and organize exam rooms, and maintain equipment.
  • Assist patients with required paperwork and coordination with outside agencies.
  • Contribute to teamwork, excellent customer service, and a positive, mission‑driven clinic culture.
