Requirements

High school diploma or GED is required and will be required to produce at time of hire.
BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
Valid Florida driver’s license is needed for travel to the clinics.
Clear results of a thorough background screening.
Receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
Subject to drug/nicotine testing (FCS is a drug-free workplace, and individuals who use products containing tobacco/nicotine of any kind are ineligible for hire).

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with medical procedures in office.
Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
