About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team! The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care delivery, and maintaining a smooth clinic operation. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in medical terminology, outpatient procedures, and clinic operations.

Requirements

Knowledge in medical terminology and coding
Knowledge in basic vital signs
Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and pediatrics
Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers in conducting patient assessments and examinations
Perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, POC testing, and administering vaccinations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing medical records
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Participate in continuous training to stay up to date on medical best practices
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
