About The Position

Presbyterian is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in a Family Practice Clinic. Common responsibilities include preparing the patient for the visit, maintaining efficient patient flow, assisting the provider with treatments and procedures, medication administration, support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, authorization and in-basket support with the EMR. Requirements

  • BLS required at time of hire
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer healthcare experience
  • For MA II Applicants: Six months of MA experience or successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program from an accredited school required
