Position Summary The role of the Medical Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a previous medical assistant role, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system
- Perform any necessary CLIA-waive tests
- Clean room after patient use
- Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies
- Appropriately process soiled instruments
- Assist front desk with daily operations, as needed
