Medical Assistant - Overlake Clinics Urology
About The Position
Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $28.02 - $38.77 Overlake Medical Clinics has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant to join the procedure side of our Urology Clinic. Job responsibilities include instrument sterile processing, assisting in a variety of procedures including placements of catheters and vaginal estrogen rings, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record. Full-Time/Day Shift Monday-Friday / 8 hour day shift $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
- Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire).
- Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.
