Patient Care: Taking and recording vital signs: This includes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration. - Relaying information to MD. Assisting with medical procedures: This might involve assisting with examinations or other procedures. Assessing patient condition: Observing for changes and reporting any concerns to the physician. Providing patient education: Explaining treatments, self-care instructions, and infection precautions. Patient wound care Assisting patients in & out of clinic Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records: This includes medical histories, treatments, and progress notes, prescriptions, patient education. Entering data into electronic health records (EHRs): Ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. New patient paperwork, Sending/ receiving clearances. Proficient with patient pictures for before & after treatments Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with medical staff respectfully. Working with physicians, other nurses, and support staff to coordinate care. Communicating with patients and their families: Explaining procedures, answering questions, phone calls and providing emotional support. Other Responsibilities: Ordering and managing supplies: Ensuring the clinic has the necessary materials for patient care (i.e. garments, medications, supplies). Stocking rooms frequently. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: Ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met. Assisting Nurse Practitioner with injectables (i.e. botox, fillers), taking pictures prior to treatments, topical numbing. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Medical Assistant training program

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant
Preferably experience in hospital or aesthetics
