About The Position

Join the Internal Medicine team as a Medical Assistant! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential. Available Schedules: Salmon Creek: Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, 40 hours/week. Battle Ground: Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:45pm Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required completion of one of the following: Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
  • Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS required
  • Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
