About The Position

Logan Health is seeking a friendly, organized, and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at the FVCC Campus Clinic. This clinic provides convenient, on-campus healthcare services for FVCC students, staff, and faculty. This part-time position is essential to the smooth operation of the clinic, supporting both clinical and front desk responsibilities while ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.

Requirements

Current Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities effectively.
Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting.
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Perform basic Medical Assistant duties, including taking vitals, preparing patients for exams, and assisting providers as needed.
Manage check-in and check-out, including verifying information, scheduling appointments, and processing documentation.
Provide front desk support, answer phones, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Support a positive, patient-centered experience aligned with Logan Health’s mission and values.
