About The Position

The Clinical Assistant will promote male reproductive health by assisting and supporting physician and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel – required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred but not required
• EMR experience – preferred knowledge of EPIC

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and assist clinicians during clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.
