About The Position
Our busy pediatric office is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our young patients and supporting our healthcare providers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a pediatric setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist healthcare providers in examinations and procedures
- Record patient information and vital signs
- Perform basic lab tests and procedures
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and stocked
- Provide patient education and instructions as needed
