Role Summary The Medical Assistant (MA) supports providers in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate pediatric care. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with children. This is a PRN role - we are looking for someone who is available to work 2-3 days during the week and every other weekend. Zarminali Pediatrics/Urgent Care for Children is a national organization, and compensation is determined using market-informed data, including industry benchmarks. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location, local market conditions, state-specific factors, and individual qualifications, including years of experience, education, and scope of responsibility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Certified MA with relevant experience
  • Strong professionalism and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with electronic medical records

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients efficiently following clinic protocols
  • Record vitals, weight, and changes in medical history
  • Perform lab tests and collect specimens per provider orders
  • Update and maintain electronic medical records
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients
  • Assist with front office tasks (phones, check-ins) as needed
  • Administer medications as directed by a provider
  • Support providers during exams and procedures
  • Perform x-ray positioning as directed
  • Help maintain medical inventory and supplies
