About the Department: Urology is a part of health care that deals with diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). About The Career: The position of Medical Assistant (MA) is primarily responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting the provider with patient care. The MA obtains patient information and records it in the patient record. The MA is responsible for medical supplies and the readiness of the examination rooms. Maintains interdepartmental relations and coordinates interdepartmental communications. All About You : Education: Graduate of an approved Training Program for Medical Assistants. Training & Experience: Experience is preferred but may not be required. Additional education/training in a related field is considered on an individual basis. BLS required within 45 days of hire. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Training Program for Medical Assistants
  • BLS required within 45 days of hire
