About The Position
Responsible for assisting providers with patient care and organizational tasks. Responsible for chart management. May be assigned to specific specialty to help with patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required or GED
- Completed training in Medical Assistant program and graduated course
- One –two years as a medical assistant preferred
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner
- Strict adherence to LCMC’s policies and procedures to specifically include confidentiality
- Word and Excel programs
- Must be able to maintain a Excel spread sheet for tracking
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- NCCT Medical Assistant certification preferred
