About The Position

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for: Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Recording patient medical histories and vital signs. Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens. Providing patient education and instructions for follow-up care. Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality. Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Medical Assistant program- diploma or certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting is a plus.
