About The Position
Medical Assistant – Clinic Setting Location: Asheville, NC Assignment: 8+ weeks with possible continuation Schedule: Monday–Friday (half-day Friday) Mode: Onsite Job Overview: Medical Assistant needed to assist with both patient care and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 1+ year relevant experience
- CMA certification preferred
- BLS/CPR required
Nice To Haves
- Occupational health background is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake and care
- Take vital signs and perform lab-related tasks
- Administer injections and vaccines
- Conduct EKGs and basic diagnostic tests
- Support scheduling and front desk operations
