About The Position

Sentara Medical Group Pulmonary Critical Care-Kempsville is hiring a Medical Assistant. Sign on Bonus up to 5K offered to eligible candidate! Position Location : Norfolk, VA Position Status : Fulltime Days Overview Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have one of the following Certifications : Certified Medical Assistant Registered Medical Assistant Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
Less than one year of related experience

Responsibilities
