About The Position

This job also requires excellent attendance and attention to detail, plus compassion and empathy Current Michigan Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) or equivalent experience or training is desirable, but will train individuals with a strong interest in and aptitude for a career in healthcare BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Requirements

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Assist physician, PA or NP with data collection and procedures including phlebotomy, dressing changes, immunizations, CLIA approved laboratory testing, specimen collection
  • Assess patients through observation and interpretation of concerns and test results
  • Perform front office clerical and reception duties
  • Document medical record data accurately and timely
  • Maintain and prepare office for daily activities, order and stock supplies
  • Exercise primary responsibility for caseload by scheduled appointments and patient needs
