About The Position

The Foot Care Center is a patient-focused podiatry practice dedicated to delivering high-quality foot and ankle care in a welcoming, professional environment. Our team works collaboratively to ensure patients receive excellent clinical care paired with an outstanding experience from check-in to follow-up with three locations in Montana and Wyoming. Our team is looking for a hard-working medical assistant who will work with the physicians and other members of the practice by performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties. This person will work to fulfill patient needs and ensure smooth patient flow within the practice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
• Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties
• Customer services skills
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

Nice To Haves

• EMR Experience, ModMed experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on the phone and in person
• Place patients in the exam rooms
• Take vital signs of patients
• Assist and setup up for examination, treatment, and procedures
• Keep accurate patient files
• Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
• Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
• Maintain HIPAA Requirements
