Your Role in Action Prepare patients for exams by reviewing medical histories, obtaining vitals, and ensuring comfort and confidentiality. Support providers during exams, minor procedures, and treatments. Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as needed. Manage accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Assist with patient education and coordination of care, ensuring follow-up appointments, labs, and imaging are scheduled. Requirements

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
  • Proficiency with vital signs, EKGs, injections, specimen processing, and EMR documentation.
  • Ability to support patients with empathy and dignity, while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in oncology, hematology, or another specialty clinic strongly preferred.
