Medical Assistant - UN Haiti
About The Position
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for MAs to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract offering various rotational deployment cycles. The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility. Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services.
Requirements
- No less than three months of paramedic training
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible practical experience in CPR or basic life support is required
- Must have advanced trauma life support training or equivalent training certificate within 12 months prior to deployment
- Language Proficiency: English proficiency-a minimum of Level B 2 is required
