This position involves providing nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. The Medical Assistant will assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting, performing a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

Requirements

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
