Gundersen Emplify Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology Department! What is available: 0.9 FTE, 72 hours bi-weekly Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM No weekend or holiday hours required What you will do: Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments Enjoy variety in your role—pre-visit planning, medication refills, and supporting nurses with in-basket work Room patients, take vitals, and keep charting accurate and up-to-date Collaborate with schedulers to ensure provider calendars run smoothly Engage in hands on experience assisting providers with procedures and processing equipment Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys. Requirements
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN OR High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS for healthcare workers
Responsibilities
