About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a collaborative healthcare setting. Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- EMR experience required
- BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong communication and computer skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- 2–3 years of overall experience preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
- Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture
- Administer vaccines as directed
- Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Provide comprehensive front and back-office support
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative team members
