We are seeking an outstanding Registered Medical Assistant to join our talented clinical support team. In this role, your primary task is to assist with the surgical care of our patients under the supervision of the nursing staff. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will be cross trained to assist the front desk staff as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Flexibility to work as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
- Experience in ophthalmology is preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient
- Maintenance of equipment, instruments, and accessories
- General cleanliness, stocking, and inventory of the Clinical area
- Assist with patient admissions, discharging patients, chart preparation, medical records, and other administrative duties
- Maintain a compassionate, professional, and courteous manner with patients at all times
- MUST be willing to travel to other locations as needed
