About The Position
SSGA is a leading Gastroenterology practice established in 1971, with sixteen physicians and eight mid-level practitioners, including a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center. The organization is fast-paced and strives for excellent, compassionate service. They are seeking an experienced, energetic, and professional individual who is passionate and dedicated to meeting and exceeding patient needs. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with offices in Saratoga, Burnt Hills, and Clifton Park.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office
- Knowledge of EMR required
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
Nice To Haves
- AAS or certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Room patients
- Take Vital signs
- Enter patient medical history into EMR
- Assist physicians in rooms as needed
- Stock exam rooms
