About The Position

We are a patient-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. As our office continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.

The Medical Assistant will support providers and clinical staff in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a primary care setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Experience with EHR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
• 1–2 years of experience in a primary care setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed
• Administer injections, vaccines, and perform basic clinical procedures as directed
• Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection
• Manage patient phone calls, messages, and follow-up communication
• Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards
• Support front desk staff as needed
