About The Position

Growing medical group is seeking a Medical Assistant who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine or is interested in learning about a new field of medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages. Must have the ability to handle administrative and clinical duties which may include but are not limited to triaging calls, patient screening and brief assessment of problems, medication review, obtaining full vital signs, answering phones, making appointments, and obtaining prior authorizations. Candidates should have experience in or interest in receiving training for preparing medications for injection, EKG, preventative screenings, etc. Candidates should demonstrate the following skills: Highly organized with good time management skills Exceptional written and oral communication skills Tech-savvy with great computer skills Strong attention to detail Great active-listening skills Experience with Microsoft Office Experience collaborating and working as part of a team Excellent customer service skills Patient and able to practice good phone etiquette Self-starter who works well independently Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize between responsibilities Strong people skills Great problem-solving ability We offer a full package of benefits including medical, voluntary dental, vision, life insurance, short and long- term disability.
