About The Position

Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Unit Our Gynecological Surgical Specialties practice is a high‑level subspecialty department located within our women's health service line. We care for a wide range of complex gynecologic and urogynecologic conditions, supporting patients who often require advanced diagnostic evaluation, surgical consultation, and longitudinal specialty management. Our office consists of 14 providers, including 8 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers, all collaborating closely to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to a diverse population of patients. Conditions we commonly treat include complex pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, and post‑surgical follow‑up for advanced gynecologic and urogynecologic procedures. Because of the specialized nature of our practice, we are seeking a motivated, quick‑learning Medical Assistant who is enthusiastic about subspecialty women’s health and eager to grow in a dynamic clinical environment. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) One of the following Required within 120 Days
