Requirements

Bilingual in English & Spanish (a must!)
Medical Assistant Experience
Ability to travel to our outreach clinics 3-4 days per month
A desire to learn and grow within the cardiology field (interest in becoming a certified interpreter is a huge plus— we’ll support you and there is financial incentive once qualified or certified!)
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) or related clinic/patient care experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
Previous healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Rooming patients and assisting with outpatient exams
Performing EKGs , setting up event, pulse, and Holter monitors
Managing patient calls for results and care coordination
Filing and retrieving medical records and handling general office tasks
Collaborating with Dr. Simpson in ensuring top-quality heart care
