Practice Details Northside Internal Medicine of Roswell is a full-service primary care practice that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of illnesses in adult patients. Our board-certified providers offer comprehensive, patient-centered care for acute and chronic illnesses, thorough annual exams, and preventative care for the early diagnosis and treatment of medical problems before other complications arise. We seek to educate our patients to take part in a shared medical decision process and make them an active participant in their care, and coordinate with specialists to provide a comprehensive and team-based approach to patient care. We offer additional services in wellness and nutrition, and advocate advanced laboratory studies for the early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Requirements
- One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
- Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.
- Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.
- Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
