Requirements

  • 3 years of solid Medical Assistant experience, required
  • Medical Assistant diploma required
  • Must have experience with Medical Terminology - reading and writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be available to work a M-F work schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Take vitals and room patients
  • Assist during medical procedures
  • Request and obtain necessary clinical documents for patients' chart
  • Organize examination rooms
  • May assist in verifying patient insurance, assist with voicemail and returns calls accordingly
  • Communicate with providers, staff and patients.
