About The Position
Collaborate with the providers and multidisciplinary team to deliver appropriate patient care. Assist with the coordination of the RHC Nurse Practitioner’s daily activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform basic medical assistant needs.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare technology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform vitals.
- Perform screening(s) per Provider(s) request.
- Inform Provider when person(s) served are ready and escort them to designated area(s).
- Answer phone calls/voicemails/emails.
- Handle requests for records/discharge summaries as requested by Provider(s).
- Assure the clinic operates within the constraints of the clinic’s Rural Health Clinic (RHC) certification standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
