About The Position
Corewell Health is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity! Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only Practice Overview Our Walk-In Clinic provides care for non-urgent illnesses to patients of all ages, without requiring an appointment. The team includes two providers, a lead medical assistant, and two medical assistants. Our primary goals are to deliver high-quality, personalized care and help patients avoid unnecessary emergency room visits. Office Culture This team is truly a work family and supports each other. Collaboration happens all day long. All team members are flexible and willing to help wherever needed. Everyone is constantly working on building team culture. The practice manager strives to make it an environment where all team members feel safe, can have fun, and enjoy coming to work. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
- NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
