About The Position

CRM is a premier medical practice specializing in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertility, providing each patient “every conceivable chance for success.” We seek a full time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who is patient centered and empathetic to assist our Minneapolis clinic in meeting patient care needs.

Working in our Andrology and Embryology laboratories, you will:

Serve as backup phlebotomist and perform venipuncture according to protocol
Answer patient phone calls, chart, and order labs in EMR
Stock and clean rooms, as needed
Sterilize equipment
Staff andrology department front desk – check in and room patients, schedule appointments, answer phones
Perform laboratory quality control activities
Set-up and assist the physician during egg retrieval procedures

Requirements

• Current Phlebotomy skills required; certification a plus
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in healthcare setting
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with accuracy
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Computer and technical skills required – EMR, scanning, faxing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel

Nice To Haves

• Current Phlebotomy skills certification
