Job Summary and Responsibilities Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment! Location: 42nd & L St Family Schedule: Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday 7a-530p (Wednesday's Off) In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful. Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows. Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit. Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients. Cleans and sterilizes instruments. Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly. Escalates non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns timely and appropriately. Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required and necessary action taken if indicated. Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned. CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistants / Certified Medical Assistants MUST be a g raduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) If you are an LPN or an EMT/Paramedic and are interested in this opportunity please apply! Requirements

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
