About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification
• BLS or CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work weekends
• Ability to work six to 13-hour shifts
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for emergency coverage
• Ability to work up to five days a week

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EMR systems (1 year preferred)
• Experience in taking vital signs (1 year preferred)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Patient registration and electronic medical record (EMR) management
• Insurance verification
• Performing vital signs and basic medical assessments
• Drawing blood and collecting urine specimens for lab testing
• Conducting in-office tests including flu, strep, and pregnancy tests
• Administering injections and immunizations
• Preparing for suturing and sterilization procedures
