About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) position is a limited term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 24 months or becoming permanent. The MA will work under the administrative supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse and the clinical supervision of a Physician and Surgeon. The MA provides support to primary care providers in various healthcare settings, performing patient-oriented procedures, supporting daily clinic operations, and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare team members. The role also involves administrative duties and promoting efficient use of healthcare resources.
