About The Position

The Medical Assistant at CliniBooth plays a vital role in delivering high-quality telemedicine services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or certification in medical assisting preferred).
  • Proven experience as a medical assistant, telehealth support staff, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with basic medical equipment and diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot telemedicine systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support and guide patients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to travel to local CliniBooth locations if required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly AdvancedMD.
  • Previous experience in telemedicine or a related healthcare technology setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with the use of CliniBooth's telemedicine systems, including guiding them through device setup and operation.
  • Collect and document patient vital signs and health information using diagnostic tools available in CliniBooth.
  • Provide technical support to patients during virtual consultations, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain and sanitize CliniBooth equipment, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards, including managing self-cleaning protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to address patient needs, coordinate follow-ups, and manage prescription refill requests.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Educate patients on telemedicine processes, best practices for using CliniBooth, and general health guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory and replenish supplies in CliniBooth stations, such as disinfectant, gloves, and diagnostic device consumables.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical or operational issues with the booth, escalating to technical support as necessary.
  • Comply with HIPAA and all other relevant regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
