About The Position

Alliance Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. The role involves working closely with healthcare providers, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Medical Assistants will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vital signs, charting, assisting with procedures, and conducting fetal heart tone checks for pregnant patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant
• Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Medical Assistant certificate/diploma from a credentialed institution
• Strong customer service skills

• OB/GYN experience

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vital signs
• Chart patient information accurately
• Assist healthcare providers with procedures
• Perform fetal heart tone checks
• Set up non-stress tests for pregnant patients
• Rotate between East Lansing and Mason locations as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience
