About The Position
As a Medical Assistant at William Bee Ririe Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing both direct and indirect patient care within the office and clinic setting. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care that addresses their psycho-social, physical, and general health needs. You will be expected to meet the communication needs of both patients and their families, ensuring that they are well-informed and comfortable throughout their care process. This role requires a proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and responsibility that aligns with professional expectations, all while working under the supervision of a registered nurse and/or physician. In this position, you will maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as adhere to nursing and office/clinic policies, procedures, and standards. Effective communication is key; you will regularly interact with physicians and team members to discuss patients' clinical conditions, including the results of diagnostic studies and any symptoms they may be experiencing. Your commitment to service excellence will be paramount, as you will be expected to combine professional expertise with outstanding personal service to enhance the patient experience.
