Requirements

• Ability to work with multiple providers and other medical staff.
• Must provide exceptional patient care.
• Ability to multi-task and perform a variety of MA skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Dermatology preferred.
• 1+ years in prior medical assisting role.
• Medical Assistant certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients into exam rooms to obtain medical history, including allergies, medications and history of chronic illness.
• Efficiently use EMR for documentation.
• Call patients with lab results.
• Return patient calls to answer an array of questions, after guidance from provider.
• Clean and stock rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and wash/fold patient gowns.
• Assist providers during procedures and minor surgeries.
