About The Position
As a Medical Assistant at USA Clinics Group, you will play a crucial role in balancing the needs of patients while maintaining the efficient workflow of the office. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures, ensuring that patients receive an excellent service experience before, during, and after their visits. This full-time position requires you to work across our Fox Chapel, Wexford, and South Hill clinics, adapting to the unique needs of each location and its patients. In this role, you will greet patients upon arrival and escort them to examination rooms, assisting them with the completion of necessary forms. Familiarity with clinic computer hardware and software is essential, as you will be expected to use these tools in accordance with company policies. You will also manage multiple telephone lines, often in multiple languages, to schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including ordering transportation and rescheduling as necessary. Your responsibilities will extend to contacting insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, performing clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and faxing, and ensuring that all patient inquiries are addressed promptly. Maintaining procedure rooms in a neat and ready state is vital, as is assisting doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures according to their instructions and preferences. You will prepare patients for procedures, clean up afterward, and ensure they receive post-procedure instructions, including information on obtaining medications if needed. Additionally, you will monitor supply levels, train new staff, assist ultrasound staff, transport supplies or equipment, and work various hours, including overtime as required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
