About The Position
A Medical Assistant assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Physician by performing various duties. Depending upon training, experience, and supervision, the Medical Assistant may administer injections, perform EKGs, and conduct laboratory tests such as venipuncture. This role involves performing basic administrative, clerical, and technical supportive services for a licensed physician, requiring the ability to follow the direction of supervisors and management.
