About The Position
Brevard Health Alliance, located in Brevard County's Space Coast, is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide high-quality care for culturally diverse populations with acute and/or chronic illnesses in an outpatient care setting. The MA will be responsible for promoting a safe environment for all patients, collecting data, documenting using appropriate forms and electronic health records, and adhering to policies and protocols. The MA will perform routine administrative and clinical duties to assist the healthcare team, which includes nurses, MDs, DOs, APRNs, or PAs. The position reports to the Manager of the assigned area and is overseen by the Director of Clinical Operations or designee.
