About The Position
The Medical Assistant position in Pulmonology at Endeavor Health is a full-time role located at 519 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The Medical Assistant will report to the assigned Practice Manager and will be accountable to the Clinical Supervisor. This role is essential in providing direct patient care and performing routine clinical tasks under the supervision of a Physician (MD) and Registered Nurse (RN). The Medical Assistant will facilitate patient throughput, assist with clinical testing, and manage follow-up activities based on physician orders. This position is critical in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care in a supportive environment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Medical Assistant will be expected to maintain a working knowledge of clinical equipment and materials, ensuring that all tools are used effectively and safely. The role may also involve some required travel to other sites, specifically to 1614 W Central Rd. in Arlington Heights, IL.
