As a Medical Assistant in Women's Health, you will provide compassionate, patient focus and superior customer service - keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist Practitioners and Management by taking vital signs and accurate histories of patients in the practice. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. This is a full-time, 10:00AM - 6:00PM day shift position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of EMR systems.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Experience working in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN.
